KUWAIT – The Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority of Kuwait (CITRA) announced that it started renewal and registration of (.KW) domains for a period of one year in Kuwait. However, this was previously restricted for a period of two years.
KHARTOUM – The Registrar General of Intellectual Property in Sudan announced that he has started officially accepting the electronic Power of Attorney (POA) for trademark registration in Sudan. The new practice allows to submit an electronic POA which contains means for verification without notarization or legalization.
